ISWG newby!

Hi everyone!
This is my first posting for INSECURE WRITERS GROUP ! I am so excited to be joining this forum and look forward to lot's of new blogs and new voices on my own posts!
I guess most of us are insecure at some time or another but my moods tend to change with the amount of time I have to spend on certain things. For instance when I feel I am on top of things I feel positive and full of energy but when I am juggling time to write and plan with other things in y life, I feel a bit negative and wonder if it is all worth it...
For me time is the enemy!
Anyway, I will do my best to keep with you all.  Go to it folks...

  1. Welcome to IWSG!!! Time is my main enemy too! I have too much to do, and so many different things that I would like to pursue . . not to mention all my family's interests.

  2. We just have to take one day at a time and keep writing.

  3. I think we all suffer from that! It is hard to juggle life and writing, but if you love it, you do it! Welcome to the IWSG :)

  6. Welcome to IWSG! This is only my second month also.
My post is also about time. I agree there is never enough. The way my brain works it takes me time to even get "warmed up" and by then it's over. An ongoing frustration!

  8. You know, that's true for me, too. The more distance I have from something, the less secure I feel about it. When I jump in and get busy with it, I feel better about it.

  9. Unlike Mick Jagger, time is never on my side. Either I am bursting with ideas and little time to write 'em all out, or I'm gifted with a big chunk of time and my muse goes on walkabout.

  10. I completely agree with you about time being the enemy. It is funny how the lack of it can make us feel really negative and as if we are neglecting important duties. Thank you for following my blog and I am sorry for not having a post yesterday.

  11. Welcome to the IWSG!
I'm working on time travel. When I locate a way to do it safely, I'll let you know.
Don't stress the time. If it were a race, we'd all be in trouble!

  13. Welcome to the IWSG. I have been following your blog for a while now , but I have taken a few breaks from blogging over the past few months. I can relate to your post. I feel the same way. My moods change as well, depending on what else is gong on in my life. I know that I should use the time when I am overwhelmed from other sources to benefit my writing. I could channel whatever is bothering me into my writing, but I often just shut down when I when I feel like I have so much going on that I can't get any of it done,

  14. Pat, I'm going to make this quick because I've made 3 attempts to leave a message and they've vanished. Want to welcome you, encourage you to enjoy those off days. I think they make it possible for the on-days. But what do I know? I'm just a writer. LOL. Happy IWSG. I'm #192
